Tourist Attraction Art Gallery of Ontario
This is one of the top three art galleries in the country, the others being in Ottawa and Montreal. Though not the Louvre, it is excellent, and unless you have a lot of stamina, you’ll need more than one trip to see it all. The arts gallery at 317 Dundas St W, two blocks west of University Ave, houses works (mainly paintings) from the 14th century to the present.
There is also a Canadian section and rooms are changing
exhibitions, which can sometimes be the highlight of a visit. The AGO is best
known for its vast Henry Moore sculpture collection- one room holds about 20 of
his major sculptures of the human form.
